In addition to Oral Sedation Dentistry, we now offer IV conscious sedation in our office. The benefit of IV sedation over Oral Sedation using pills, is that is a much more predictable way of sedating patients. IV conscious sedation bypasses the digestive system and allows the distribution of medication directly to the bloodstream leading to better and more predictable results. This allows for quicker procedures with better results in a safe and comfortable atmosphere
On the day of your appointment, a trusted friend or loved one will bring you to our office. Our experienced dental team will make sure that you are completely relaxed and comfortable and we will monitor you very closely while you are sedated. Most patients feel NO DISCOMFORT whatsoever during and after treatment, and have little to no memory of the visit.

A. You will receive just enough sedation so that you will be completely unaware of treatment, as if it were a dream.

A. At the end of treatment, you will have little or no memory of your dental visit.
Q. Will I be groggy after my treatment is over?
A. You will feel just fine. For your safety, we do require that you have a family member or a trusted friend drive you home and stay with you for a few hours.
